This compilation spans intelligent breakbeat in all its guises (IDM, braindance, downtempo, hip-hop paced slammers, jungle and breakcore) and its an actually lovely (rather than challenging) listen. Not every tune is perfect - but Stazma the Junglechrist's truly perfect mastering adds a beautiful lustrous sheen to the collection of wonky grooves, editalicious masterpieces and noodling that would bring a tear to a certain Richard D James eye. A beautiful, spacious listen on headphones. Superb.
